This winter has been tough on our little pups; the bitter cold outside and dry heating inside have dried out their coats and fur. Most shampoos clean, but we found one with Vitamin E and Aloe Vera that also softens and soothes.      I love the description on the back of the bottle - it sounded like just the shampoo we needed. But then, they all claimed to work, and all they did was clean surface dirt.  But I have to say that I am impressed; the shampoo smells great (one pup even tried to taste it!) and it lathers well. We haven’t had a chance to try more than once in the test period, but so far it seems to deep-clean better, and to soothe the flakey skin. Pups are not only clean, but softer! She may not look like it here, but Kenzie feels so much better, now that her skin isn't dry and itchy, and her coat is soft and clean. I have always had a hard time using binoculars. I have mono-vision, which means that one eye focuses on distances,while the other focuses on what is close. Little Dexter has had some dry skin issues,  with itchy patches on his back that he chewed raw. He really was not feeling himself this winter, it has been so cold and the house has been so dry. A fter an examination, his vet recommended fish oil supplements. Thanks to Tomoson , we got to try # terramaxpro Premium Wild Alaskan Salmon Oil. This oil smells better than other fish oils, but it is a bit difficult to dispense; it comes with a handy pump, but according to the directions, Dex should get a half pump per serving.   The good news is that Dex loves this oil, and gobbles up his dinner now that it is "dressed" with the Premium Salmon Oil.  And I think that it has really helped him; even though he has only been taking it for a short time, his coat is softer, shinier, and I think he looks peppier than before!
