Thanks again to Tomoson reviews, I was selected to receive and review a wonderful starter set of embroidery materials! (Ordered from http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07GDLD3JP)
The set came in a sorter/storage box, so that the threads and tools can be stored in perfect order, and all is easy to see and to access. Such a clever way to keep things neat!

There were 100 different colored skeins of high-quality, lovely, soft and shiny embroidery floss - and they are numbered accurately to relate to the most expensive flosses in the craft store, so they can be used in any pattern. Sometimes I found cheaper floss that was not labeled, so I could not use it with any pattern that I found, as I had no idea what numbers related to which colors!
The description of the product listed metallic threads as well, but these are not included. Instead, there are ten white (B5200) and ten black (310) skeins, and a roll of tape for labeling. Although the metal threads would have been nice, I feel that the seller compensated for their absence.
But wait!! There’s more!! Also included in the box were an assortment of tools, come of which I will have to learn to use! There are:
This is a huge assortment of tools, and one that would set up a beginner crafter with everything that he/she needs. However, I don’t know anyone who is taking up embroidery, so I guess I will have to sacrifice and use this lovely box of fabulous supplies myself!! I can’t wait to put the dividers into the case and start winding the bobbins!!

- plastic “bobbin” cards for winding the threads, so that they can be stored in the compartment of the storage box! I had paper ones once, and they got worn and tired-looking very quickly. These would last so much better!!
- labels for writing the number of each thread on the bobbins;
- a cute pen, again to help with labeling;
- 30 needles of three different sizes, for use with various cloths, stored in a handy container;
- a thread remover/ripper/untangler - a handy tool with a pointed end to help fix mistakes!
- A cute pair of travel scissors with a safety cover for the tips
- Two thimbles
- Four threading tools - two that are familiar to me, and two that I will need to learn to use!
- Six safety pins;
- A roll of labeling tape that can be used on the bobbins.
This is a huge assortment of tools, and one that would set up a beginner crafter with everything that he/she needs.
