Ritual of Dao Try-a-Box

Once again, I have had the fabulous good luck to be chosen by Tryazon to try a goft box from Rituals USA - this time a Ritual of Dao small gift set. I have to say right from the start,  Rituals Cosmetics  has the most beautiful gift sets! Before I even opened the box, I read this calming phrase, and I knew that I was in for a treat! This Ritual of Dao set has everything one would need to turn a shower into a luxurious spa!  From shampoo, to shower foam, silkening shower oil and rich body cream, all are infused with a clean, relaxing fragrance that lasts.  I love the foaming shower gel; it dispenses as a gel, and a little bit foams up into a delightfully fragrant foam that cleans without drying.       Winter dryness won't stand a chance with the shower oil and body cream at hand - both leave the skin soft, supple and smooth, but without any lingering greasiness or stickiness.       And the reusable gift...

Thanks to  Tryazon , I had the chance to try-a-box - and enjoy this fabulous  Rituals Cosmetics  bath set!  I just love the rose and sweet almond scent, the silky-smooth foaming shower gel, amazing body scrub and softening body cream. This is like a spa treatment in a box!  I think this  # ritualsusa  gift set would be perfect for house guests, tired moms and special friends who need a little pampering.  Check out  # tryazon  if you'd like to get the chance to try out amazing products like this!  # shareyourslowdown

Penless Party/Workshop

We hosted our Penless Memory Crafting Party as a workshop at the public Library this week. We advertised it in the local newspaper, on calendars in the library, and through posts on Facebook and Twitter. It was such fun helping people get started with the Penless Memory app, and the best part was that each participant had different ideas about how they would use the stickers! Penless is a great app that allows us to link a photo or short video to a cute, colorful QR code. The recipient of the code just scans it (just point a smartphone camera at it!) to see the photo or video. It's so easy that youngsters and oldsters who are not tech-savvy can handle it, there is nothing to log into, and the recipient doesn't need to have the app to see the photos. It is great on gifts or greeting cards, but the possibilities for using these great stickers is endless! And it's SO easy!! Although we were never all together at the same time, over the course of two hours, six people came ...

Strong and flexible Achoro iPhone charging cord

If you are anything like me (and my kids) you get frustrated by charging cords that fray and tear, especially since they  are so expensive always break at the worst time  This is why I was happy to test and review this Achoro MFI Certified iPhone and iPad Charger for Tomoson Reviews.  I received this cord in return for my review, but my opinions and observations are honest and unbiased.   This cord is, first of all, long! I bought one recently that would not reach from the outlet to the desk, which is a pain! At 1 meter (about 3.3 feet) long, this cord is definitely a great length. Next, I noticed how flexible the cord is; the nylon braided cord is both strong, but very malleable, so it seems like it will withstand coiling and bending. It won't get dry and brittle like plastic does in the heat and cold if it is left in the car!! The cord ends in reinforced, pliant plugs. The area that always breaks -- just before the lightning plug -- is st...

Trinova Magic Cleaning Sponges

I don't know about you, but I love Magic Erasers for those seemingly impossible scuff marks, ink stains and crusty places that seem to pop up more often now that we have a wild and crazy pup. They can be kind of expensive, especially when they don't last long.  So, I was buying the cheaper version of the sponges at the dollar store, and even bought one that was about 10" by 18" - and had to cut it into pieces!  As expected, these cheaper versions always seemed to squish into unusable little pads too soon, or they broke apart and crumbled if I scrubbed too long or too hard. So I was a bit skeptical about trying these  Magic Cleaning Eraser Sponges from Trinova   ( http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07DX9G76W ). There are 20 sponges in the pack - and it only cost me $11.98!  They arrived so quickly that I was surprised, and I searched the house for ways to test them out and see if they hold up any better than the ones I had bought before. First of all,...

Geeni Fun!! Merkury Innovations Smart Devices have made my home smarter!

Our home got a teeny bit smarter this Christmas when I got an Echo Dot and started calling upon Alexa for music, weather, measurements, timers and all kinds of fun things. I really wanted to add more devices, and use Alexa to control tasks around the house, but I didn't really know where to start, and I didn't want to spend a lot of money on gadgets that I may not be able to use. Thanks to the fabulous folks at # Tryazon , I got to try the Smart Geeni tools from # MerkuryInnovations ,  to add three cool new Smart devices to my home, and link them to my Echo Dot! In return for my reviews, I received: Merkury Innovations Smart WiFi 720P Camera Merkury Innovations A19 Smart Light Bulb, 60W   Merkury Innovations Smart Plug   I figured that the Smart Light Bulb would be the easiest to set up and use, so I started with it. I was right - the directions are simple, and I had the bulb responding to my commands via the Geeni app in no time. It sets up the same way as the o...

Getting Organized in the New Year with Sterlite boxes!

I had a great opportunity to put one of my New Year's Resolutions to work this week when I got the opportunity through Tomoson Reviews to purchase Sterlite  Stackable Shoe Storage Boxes through Groupon. Now I had no excuse not to get more organized, and to put clutter in its place, with a dozen clear shoeboxes! I first tackled the coat closet, where hats, gloves and scarves were in a jumbled mess, always falling out when I tried to look for one. Now, with gloves in one box, hats and scarves in others, I can find just what I need in a hurry, and they stay neat and tidy on the shelf! Since the boxes snap shut tightly, I can pull them down to look inside, without the contents emptying all over the floor! Next, I managed to corral all of the dog's treats and meds, which were kept in three different places in the kitchen, and put them into one neat box! The Sterlite box can now sit on the pantry shelf, and all of our spoiled little dog's treats are in one place, han...
